Billing FAQ

As a small company, we do our best to be fair and transparent with billing, invoicing and payments.

We bill all customers via a credit card on file, on the 8th day of every month. We automatically bill $1 after 3 days of exceeding the free limit for the first time.

Here are answers to common questions:

How does billing work?

For example, if you sign up on March 20th, you’ll be billed only the 8th day of the next month, April 8th, for either the first billing period (for 20 days, in this case).

Can I have multiple sites on my account?

Yes, you add as many as you’d like (and the total of the events across all the sites counts as your total even count for your pricing plan). Every plan comes with the ability to add up to 50 sites free of charge, and it costs $14/month per additional 50 sites if you require more.

Can I switch between monthly and yearly?

Unfortunately, no. We believe that a truly usage-based pricing is more fair than charging you even before starting to track events. Due to this, we do not offer a yearly plan, to prevent charging you for a whole year worth of events - which can be a lot.

Does Undicat have a lower plan?

Yes: We believe that fair and transparent analytics software is the right of every website, so every plan includes the first 5000 events of the month for free.

Unfortunately, after you exceed this limit, we do not offer any lower plans. We've invested heavily in enterprise-level infrastructure with great speed and reliability (we don't just host our software on cheap VPS servers). And for an easy-to-use analytics product, all plans come with powerful tools like email reports, filters, website uptime monitoring, and more. Our business model is selling software, not your data, so we're priced for sustainability on our end and a fantastic product for our customers.

Does Undicat offer discounts?

We don't - except for a $10 credit if referred from an affiliate or the 17% discount on yearly plans. We feel this is a fair way to run our business because everyone pays the same price for the same thing.

Does Undicat have a special price for charities?

If you're a registered charity that works on environmental sustainability or social impact (human rights, underrepresentation, domestic violence, aiding children), get in touch, and we can do our best to offer you a specially-priced account.

What payment methods does Undicat accept?

We only accept credit cards processed through our registration or billing pages. This is because, as a software-as-a-service company, our billing is tied directly into our software. All payments are processed securely via Stripe.

We do not accept alternative methods of payment at this time.

What if I cancel my account?

Your account will be closed immediately, and per our terms, we don't offer refunds (except where required by law). If you wish to close your account, close it the day before your next billing period to get the most out of your data collection for your site.

How do I get my invoices?

Go to 'Settings', then 'Billing', and scroll down to the invoice section. There's a list of every invoice you've ever paid us here, which you can download as PDFs.

If you want a different person to receive your invoices, go to 'Settings', then 'Billing' and add their email address to the 'Invoicing email' field and press 'Save'. To add multiple people to your invoicing emails, use a comma to separate them.
